You really don't have to buy stuff for your heroes if you don't want to. There are collector weapons and drops. They come with non-maxed weapons, use those until you get something better. All of my casters are using collector staffs. Don't matter if Olias uses a req 9 divine favor healing staff. I want to give him that extra 10 energy.

Also, god forbid that an ele do anything else but stand in the back and dance.
Set a ranger hero to interrupt, lock the hero onto the ele and you'll notice that they're not overpowered. "But I didn't pick the ranger hero..." Me neither, set your ele hero to E/Me and load him up with mesmer interrupts. Doesn't catch everything, however they do catch most of them.

Oh, even better, you could use your overpowered ele hero to nuke them.

Then you can look at the "Low End" fancy armor like vabbi where the gems alone will make the armor cost near as much as FoW. Pretty spiffy for armor that's only 5k per part. The Bone Palace armor at 10k is cheaper then Vabbi by far.
Well Imaginos, that was my point. Max armor was reduced to 1k to compensate for the additional cost of the insignias (which you don't need, there was max modless armor in the previous chapters). I wasn't referring to the Vabbian or Ancient armor in this - additional armor can be whatever price it wishes to be, as it's not a requirement.

Please close. Mega-flame-fest is about to ensue.

Ugh, the whole point to the insignia system is for it to be more handy for players to craft the exact armor they want with the exact look they want. It is not meant to be a burden. If you have a problem with it, buy armor from other campaigns. Also, you don't have to buy shit for your heros.

I totally regret posting in this thread.

I sort of know how you feel when prophecies came out everything was new and fun. Then came factions the content was new but the experience was old everyone knew what to do same with Nightfall. The experience of playing though all the missions and quests has lost it's "fun factor" titles gave us all something extra to aim for but that can only last so long.

They have tired to make the game more challenging with all the updates but instead they have sort of sucked the fun out of it

I personally feel Nightfall is the best chapter so far, niggles aside (AI, Storage and a missing Auction System still) I'm thoroughly happy with it.

The ability to upgrade hero's is fantastic, I would be quite disappointed to have discovered a weapons/level system in place like the armor. Giving them the ability to wield whatever I choose is great. It's not like basic max dmg weapons are that hard to find or 3 flamingo toenails for a collector.

I don't rune them all up but just the basic purples I salvage myself, they do fine. Same goes for insignias. Point is, you can upgrade them as much or as little as you want and they still do fine. Think I read that in a dev description somewhere.

As for lag, not here, not at all. YMMV I guess.

And so the axe falls.

A thread essentially to complain serves no purpose, each issue you have brought up has been addressed in other threads.

I agree with everything you say. The insignia plus hero cash factor = overboard and the farm nerf and whatnot.

However I DONT regret buying NF as it is the leetest chapter ever. I recomend you don't post something like this as it normally ends with a flame fest and a couple of mods with bansticks...............
